I guess it's all designed with airflow in mind to take the heat away, but that can also let the leaves in. I spotted some deep down towards the hinges for the bonnet. There seem to be some plastic meshes down there... maybe for drainage?
Anyway, I got myself a giant pair of 10 inch tweezers from my local friendly internet and they are perfect for extracting leafy intruders. I think the tweezers are meant for aquariums... just don't poke them near anything electrical!
