I got a sensible set of winter run-flat radials and rims for my new mini (FB marketplace - $150 for all 4, great condition). They don't have TPMS though so I get the triangle.

I've been running round and round on the Internet trying to find a TPMS will fit. ebaymotors gives me lots of choices, but when I choose my vehicle it says "won't fit". I'm not sure what the original part is because the mini OEM store doesn't even make the TPMS searchable in any reasonable way (pages and pages of unrelated/irrelevant results).

Every time I think I've found the right one (F56), I check the fitment, and the date stops at 2019 or 2021 or something and it says won't fit.

Is it that nobody has updated their dates/models and the 2019 TPMS will work? Is it a different frequency? So many matches, but in the end they all disclaim a fit for this vehicle and I can't find reliable info about what it is that would make it fit.

The closest I've come to one that I think will work is this, for a bit of a premium:

But programmable, to me, makes it seem like I have to also get a programming tool, so I'm dubious.

This is one example of huge compatibility list, including F56 model, but stops at 2020:

Thoughts?

I think the 2020 ones will fit-as I don't think they've changed but am just speculating and have no idea-when I bought my winters i went to mini and bought the sensors from the dealer-I thought as you that it seemed to be a total minefield-oem ones were in my opinion guaranteed to work and they did . You could if you can do some coding have the tpms switched off!

Thanks. Alas, the mini OEM parts sites have the WORST SEARCH ENGINES IN THE WORLD. I did find a place just a little bit ago that guarantees their fit. partgeek.com. A little pricey though at $43 each, but not the worst thing in the world. (That's more than I paid each for the tires and rims!). How much did you pay the dealer, if you don't mind my asking?

Interesting, I found one of the same sensors a little while ago for about half the price of Discount Tire at a different location.

The BH has 3 year warranty vs the 2 year of the continental and considerably less expensive.

Seattle MINI’s online parts catalog is one of the best and they have great customer service ;)

As for the MINI OEM part number it’s 36106881890 and it’s compatible with your ‘23 SE and models dating back to ‘14.

They cost more however the part is OEM which comes with MINI’s warranty!

I hope this helps and Motor On -Rich
