Traffic Reports (TP) Question

Hi
If I have TP on but the visual boost radio muted and a report comes on, will the volume automatically come on so I can hear the report?

does it issue reports regardless of the audio input you're listening to (FM/DAB/Aux)? i've never heard mine do anything but i never listen to FM
