This is my one big regret Peter....However being 19 when I bought the car, car insurance is expensive enough as it is

No doubt chip tuning for this model will be along eventually however with the car being so new many owners won't yet want to go down that route.

How about identifying likely companies that chip MINI's and approaching them? You could offer-up your car and maybe get it done for free or very low cost?

Same with after-market exhaust systems.
