Hello, I have been browsing the forums for some weeks and thought it was about time to post!
We are awaiting delivery of two minis - a MCS in MB for me and a Cooper also in MB for my better half (his choice to go for the same colour at the last minute - he has absolutely no interest in cars).
I am returning to Mini having owned an R56 Cooper, promptly followed by an R56 Cooper S which I loved - the latter I traded in for a BMW M135 as an impulse purchase only 14 months ago.. (don't shoot me down..) I have really enjoyed the M135 and would have kept it, however we are no longer able to manage with one car, so I am happily returning to a MINI
-- have never liked sharing when it comes to the car! I also find that the power is a little wasted on me as I always seem to be stuck in traffic and I think I have missed the MCS and it's personality more than I thought I would.
I used to be a keen follower on a couple of other Mini forums but noticed how quiet things have gotten compared to a couple of years ago - is this because everyone is on Facebook and Twitter instead?
Anyhow, it's great to have somewhere like this as I continue to learn new things about the F56, especially whilst we (I) wait... And I look forward to being able to contribute
