... I thought you could play video whilst stationary? How do I do this?

And why doesn't the satnav show speed limits? My £30 Navigon iPhone app does, surely my £1500 Media XL Pack should. And it definitely doesn't have a speed camera database. Which Navigon deffo does.

First one have no idea Mark will be on it

Second one you need driver assistant pack for the speed limit to be activated - i think it's daft BMW sell it separately for around 220 as an option it's something that should have also have been a stand alone option in the Mini as well as the drivers assistant pack

Likewise front and rear parking sensors - they only come with the park pack...

Great ideas to fleece money out of customers I guess...

The rear sensors come with the camera (why I have). The front ones with the park assist (which I don't have).

I played video that I had on a USB key. I was stationary but I don't remember the exact setup. Did I have to pull the handbrake for instance?!

Yeh I've got the video to work, still a bit crazy about the satnav though

I thought the Mini F56 was built around the 3 series so we should see future products coming on line. Personally I think the sat nav has some smart features but a long way behind market leaders. I had an A6 with google maps which was awesome. But the driving experience in the Mini is far superior so I can accept going backwards technology wise in some aspects/options

The HUD is a winner & integrates phone, sat nav etc
