I have mini cooper D production 2016 with visual boost.
My iphone works for sms text.

Only i dont recieve any tone when a new message arrives. Just see a envelope on top of screen.
Dont understand why there is no notification tone.

Office works but calenar only shows when i use mini connected app and in connected i can see calendar but not in office.

Do you guys also don’t have any notification tone when you recieve new text message?

I don’t get any notification tone, just the envelope. My friends Tesla doesn’t give him any way to read txts so I feel like what I have is pretty good.

Could be an IOS update.

I used to get a tone notification and now I don’t.
I find this annoying as I’m not constantly looking at my media screen and miss the little envelope for ages.

How can this be sorted

Do you have the 'do not disturb while driving' feature activated? That stops any notifications on your phone while driving (it either activates when connected to bluetooth or when it detects movement). You can find it under Settings > Do Not Disturb > Do Not Disturb While Driving (towards the bottom)

Thx for your reply, i checked, and it is set to manual.

So i dont think it is activated when im driving.

notifications won't go through the stereo unless your phone is not on silent and you are listening to BT audio. If you're listening to another source, the only way to get notification sounds would be from the phone and again, the phone can't be on silent - sounds have to be turned on.

i will test this again tonight but as before.

i connect my iphone 7 to the usb cable. i have all media XL blah blah, also i have bluetooth on for calls etc..
phone on loud..

i still dont get the message tone only the envelope appears.
