Tyre Wear Less On F56 JCW vs R56 S/JCW

Has the better traction In my eye's helping tyre wear on fronts of the F56 JCW compared to its predecessor? I'm basing this on our R56 Cooper S that used to swallow front tears at an alarming rate and the Insides always went quick on fronts.
What are others thoughts on this , is it better at putting power down and more chassis grip helping this?
