A question for UK folks:
My car is coming up for a year old. Nothing seriously wrong in that time, apart from limp mode once (cured by a software update) and the horn only works when you press at 7 o'clock.
Anyway - I was never offered an extended warranty at point of sale. I got that standard 3 year / 60k mile warranty. If I keep the car for longer, I think I need the warranty. I hate big surprise bills!!
Has anyone been offered the extended warranty - 5 years? If so, how much? When?
I have even asked the dealer several times, and they have not come back to me.
