Hi there all a friend of mine HAS to have a new car in 8 weeks time; anyone know the sort of time it is taking atm from order to delivery in the uk for a 5 door ? i suppose he has the option of an ex demo or a dealer stock car but he'd need to be flexible with spec then?

I think it depends on spec but mine took less than 4 weeks from order.

Hi Jeremy,

Ordered my 3 door on Monday and was told 8 to 9 weeks, it has recently gone out from the previous 6 to 8 weeks.

I think the dealer said autos were shipping quicker than manuals but I wouldn't put too much store in what a dealer says...
