This may not work every time, but it seems that most Minis are shipped on Wallenius Wihelmsen line out of Southampton, once they arrive there on a train from Oxford. If you have your VIN, which is available from the Owner's Lounge page once your car is scheduled, you can enter it on WW's tracking page ( https://offices.2wglobal.com/office...cean.do?method=getDefaultOceanQuickSearchPage ) in the "Cargo ID" box. That will get you a page that shows the ship and its itinerary.

My car was built on 24 July, arrived at Southampton on 25 July, and was loaded on the "Manon" on 29 July. The ship is now underway somewhere in the North Atlantic. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast things moved along. The Manon is scheduled to arrive in NY on 8 August, which is 10 days from leaving Southampton.

Looking up the "Booking Number" on WW's site shows that there were 287 Minis set to ship on Manon, but about 20 of them were "Returned to Shipper". I have no idea what that means.

Forgot to mention that the Owner's Lounge status display says that the car is Awaiting Transport. Maybe some of the above information may be covered when the status changes to EnRoute, but I wouldn't know about that. Since the Owner's Lounge seems to lag by some number of days, this may be the only way to access truly current information if you're in the same state of information delay I am.

Owners lounge will be a day or two behind. You can track your ship til it leaves the channel and then you may lose connection to it until it gets close to Nova Scotia.

Are you waiting on a 2015? See my post in this same forum entitled "anyone else here in the US?"......a few of us have been going back and forth on whether or not there is a delay in the release of 2015's

Current status of mine is that it was supposed to be picked up from Port of NY today and hit the dealer on Friday. I have been told by my dealer that may not happen due to some sort of "issue" with the 2015's.

Mine was built on 24 July, so it's MY2015. The salesdude said to expect a few days at the distribution center. Didn't mention anything about cars being held. I think that's probably some Car Dealer BS® that's being used to cover up something else they don't want to tell you, such as you aren't at the top of their prep priority list. My guy said that they just received a carrier full of 2015s on Monday of this week (28 July).

It will be interesting to see if your car has any of the known issues like the leaking windshield washers or the (worrisome) leaking rear window.

I initially thought it was dealer mambo jumbo, but my sales guy is a personal friend. He would not pull any punches with me but I suspected his management might be pullin some crap on him. I guess we will see tomorrow. My car is supposed to be on a carrier today on its way to the dealer. Custom serv had no update as of 4:00 today so I will call them again in the am.
