Hello everyone. I'm in the process of tracking down front end clunking/banging in my 14 MCS I bought a month ago. I've done the lower engine mount with the poly bushing and now am replacing the upper engine mount.

Question, the new upper mount is fairly easy to move. I was curious if adding the poly inserts are a good idea or not? Anyone have them? Do they prolong the upper mount life?

Thanks in advance!

Late reply but I have the inserts installed. All seems to be well so far. I've had them for a few months now. But also installed on 8 month old (new) mount.
They didn't make these when I swapped the old for new. But I don't see a way for there to be much movement with inserts. So that's a good thing.
Haven't had any extra vibrations at all and also have the lower poly mount bushing.
