...to Park Lane Mini in order to collect our Volcanic Orange Petrol Cooper with white roof/stripes/mirrors, Chilli, Media, Rear PDC, HUD, silver victory wheels and satellite grey interior!

Have to confess, I haven't been this excited about getting a car since my first in 1989!

Awesome! At least you're super excited for it! Especially with how long you waited to get a new car.

Keep us posted on when it arrives.

The F56 is going to be my third MINI and I'm more excited than I've ever been too! 60 hours to go and counting!

What a car! So impressed and HUD transforms driving style and can be justified on safety grounds. You keep your eyes on the road, which in London traffic today, was essential!

Two BMW's facing each other.... Kind of!

Mrs Pintie and Alexander the salesman in the background. She is made up, especially when she realised that she can personalise the interior lights colour!

Hi Pintie
How was your experience at Park Lane? Did you get treated as you would hope at the BMW/Mini flagship dealer, Any freebies etc. I have ordered my car through the Specialist Sales Division at Park Lane. Est delivery end of May, Update expected on Tuesday. Must have been a nightmare getting through that West End traffic in a new car.

We ordered through the Specialist Sales Division as well. I've got to say that it wasn't the 5* that we expected but that was mainly because they are located in the BMW dealership next door and the actual handover was then done in a nearby street. Rather than in the dealership. Which is crowded!

But, that said, Alexander was a really decent bloke and the car was mint. I saved the best part of £3000 over my local dealer's pathetic attempt at a deal, I was given a further £400 loyalty bonus as a current BMW finance customer and a years free insurance was chucked in. A fantastic deal and I would strongly recommend specialist sales for those who qualify!

Driving through London's rush hour was challenging but thankfully not impossible and we haven't had to file for divorce.

Mrs Pintie is well made up and I love it. Especially as it is the first and only volcanic orange with white roof that I have seen! The 16 inch wheels don't look as good as 17 or 18's but the ride is fantastic and it handles like Hamilton's F1 car!

Hi from Spain, I have found your car pictures looking for combination volcanic orange + white roof because we have ordered a 5 doors F55 also in volcanic orange and whith roof and I was not sure, but I think is a nice combination.
I hope first of November I can enjoy with my new mini.
