Those roads make me want to get back on my motorbike! Any cops around?!

Did you black the hatch bar? I was thinking of getting those orange wheel centers but am waiting for them to come out with Volcanic Orange. Not sure I like the different shade orange, but then they look still look good against the black wheels.

Nice photos, post some more some time.

Thank's vegbiker, not many cops around here, but they do catch people out. the roads around the brecon beacons are a bikers heaven.. most of my friends have bikes they love it..

No the bar on the hatch comes in black on the cooper S i believe, but i wish they did the rest of the chrome bits in black to..

i don't get why the shade of orange is different, doesn't really make sense but still looks cool. also adding the mud guards saves a lot of the dirt going up the car..

Cheers everyone.

Identical colour and wheels as the one I've ordered. Quick question since neither of you have led lights. Does the standard lights still come with the led ring on the lights? I thought it didn't but then I heard a review saying that's the case.

Both the base model and the S model come standard with DRL (the LED "eyebrow"), irregardless as to which headlamps you get. I gathered this information from the MINIUSA.COM site on their hardtop safety features page. (http://www.miniusa.com/content/miniusa/en/model/hardtop/hardtop-safety.html)

Okay, I'm the idiot. Both models have DRL as standard equipment but how MINI executes this differs depending on which headlamp configuration you order/buy. The "LED "eyebrow" comes only with the LED headlamp. IF you get the halogen lamps the DRL is the driving light (U.S. term) located below the headlamp. Just like how all the R56 and R55 models are.

Sorry for the confusion.

Nice car, nice pics, nice roads! When I get my Cooper next Monday I'll soon be heading off on those Welsh roads too :) First trip will probably be along the Tanat Valley and up into the Berwyn Range; that's not far at all from me.

Saw three Cooper S f56s, 2 in VO, on my trip down south at the weekend. Made me a bit jealous but sure I'll be thrilled with the new 136bhp Cooper.... a decent base engine for the Cooper has been a long time coming.

Sir Alec is right, halos drops on leds only.

Totally agree Derek, 1500 3cylinder is a winner for me. I love the noise it makes, quick enough and I'm showing 48 mpg at the moment on short runs. Can't wait to get a decent drive out in it.(love the s too though guys)
