Good grief, why was a motorbike out in that but mores to the point why didn't the clown behind you leave space to stop. People drive like they would normally in snow ice and wet weather. We were overtaken numerous times in it. Drives me potty.Poor you poor car.

Feel for ya there fella,Jeremy the biker may have set off with no snow and got caught out mate it happens. I agree with the space issue with other drivers. Last week when we had snow i walked to work, couldn't take any chance with trading mine in shortly.

That sucks, hope you get it all sorted to your liking.

BMW put the fuel cap on the left to try and help with the natural selection process - if you're dumb enough to run out of fuel ;), there's a good chance off you being collected by a big pickup, like the ones that seem attracted to police cars at the roadside. Now that it's on the right hand side we'll see if it works here in the UK :D

Very true tandberg I've done the same myself. Broke down rather than fell off due to carb icing. Got home after waiting for the recovery van on the roadside for over an hour on a blizzard and vowed never again to risk it if the forecast was anywhere near snow
. Mind you for some itiis the only transport option and I have every sympathy but with a bike it's best to be very cautious.

I rode my bike in winter, when i know the roads are gritted well and even then take it cautiously. I hate these idiots that ride your butt when it snowing. I wanna stop slowly get out and lamp em one in the chops. Gets right on my bloody nerves does that. You can drive like a saint but its some other numpty that makes your car a mess as they slide into it,because they were driving like prats

Full marks for protecting the biker. I'm guessing the guy behind was one of the many people who only ever drive at one speed, and not according to the conditions, so come the snow they have no safety margin at all.

It's interesting to see that Mini get an amber indicator by combining a green light inside the red rear lens.

I think the left hand side fuel filler is becasue BMW have given up trying to pretend that the Mini is a British car when it is now designed and developed in Germany, so they've put the fuel filler on the correct side for themselves. The world is about 2/3rds drive on the right to 1/3rd drive on the left, after all.
