What option do you wish was available to order on a Mini but isn't (yet) available? Try to stay away from science fiction (flux capacitor or hovering), silly stuff (video projector headlights, 22 inch wheels) or things that don't belong in a mini (V8 engine, low rider style hydraulic suspension).

For me...

1 Twin exhaust on a Cooper
2 Wheels that look like the vintage Revolution wheel
3 Front spoiler that is angled more like the vintage "chin spoiler"
4 Yellow Fog lights that set into holes in the front grill
5 Sequential manual transmission with non-synchro first gear
6 an Italian Job or Monte Carlo Ralley special edition

Also, the option of a Cooper S engine without all the other Cooper S stuff would be cool as I don't like the hood scoop or other cosmetic mods that come in the package.

Great list, Stingray!

Things we've discussed before that I'll mention again…

1. Ceiling-attached handholds for the back seats.
2. Cabin lighting.
3. EQ controls for the 12-Speaker HK upgrade (Mid and Sub [low freq. woofer] tone controls, at a minimum).
4. Bespoke/Custom paint options.
5. White rims.

Spoil sport stingray I was going to have a rocket launcher on the front to clear the traffic.
1) Heated steering wheel would be good but dinger the two vents can blow hot air on your hands, very nearly as good.
2)Instant heat is a great one
3) I'd like more colour options externally eg bespoke,
4) leather option for dashboard areas ie stitched leather
5)more colour options for leather seats.always wanted red leather seats in a black car.preferably diamond stitched pattern aka Ferrari,Alfa
6) option to have the plastic arches etc painted, not sure I would but would like the option

I'd love to have a "Find my Mini" app on the iPhone. For work, I have to park in a different space every day. So far, I haven't forgotten where I left the car, but it could just be a matter of time...

I think the Cooper Chili Pack covers most of the essentials. We just added heated screen and heated seats. Which one of those is more important? Couldn't choose one over the other... they go hand in hand really. OK - I'll go for heated screen. Not important at home but it's sure a help when starting the car when away from home in a cold, icy car park on a dark evening.

Instant heat would be amazing! I find the 3 cylinder Cooper engine takes a fairly long time to warm up compared to other cars I have owned. Does it exist in any brand of car?
It's in the new bow active toured, and highly tuned version in the i8. It's so good it will be in lots more am sure!

There are engine pre-heaters on the market which heat the coolant by an immersion mains powered electric heating element, which allow the cars heater to work effectively straight away once the pre-heater has done its job.

I fitted one to a kit car I made some years ago which I used in the winter ( it was a jeep) and I switched the pre-heater on while I had breakfast. The car was lovely and warm when I was ready to go to work.

I think these heaters may be common in colder countries than the UK.

Upgrade the driving assistant pack to use the front camera as a dash cam, maybe using the media XL 20Gb space for some storage. No idea about its field of view.

Similarly, make the driving assistant recognise traffic lights... even if it's just to explain to the fish why you didn't put the car in neutral just then or you didn't change up!

Looking to the future... configurable paint :)

I would love to see further development with the Mini Connected app to enable integration of email, directions to scheduled calendar events, and functions such as Google Hangout!

But Im a bit of a nerd :)

love the heated seats, but the heated windscreen im not convinced, does it have elements in the window or does it just blow hot air upon the window. In the latter case this is useless until the engine is warm, i believe my mum's Citroen uses the same idea and its very slow compared to Fords Quickclear.
