So the wife and I came out to our Clubman this morning in the garage to a surprise feature. All of the windows and the sunroof were open. Turns out that if you hold down the the unlock button the car will open up all the windows first and then the sunroof. this must have happened while the keys were in my pocket or in her purse but **** these buttons are easy to activate. Luckily the barn doors weren't open too. this was a feature I loved on my GTI that I had to unlock in the coding of the control module. Happy to have it without any code modifying. I guess we are going to have to start leaving the car locked in the garage, although I do not know if that will stop the windows and roof from opening. I know it will stop the barn doors from opening on us.

MINI's & BMW's have been doing this for some years

I tend to keep the fob in my hand or a loose pocket until well away from the car, tight jeans are a no no when close by

Key in pocket get in and trap a button boot opens! Quite a regular occurance till i realised what i was doing!
