Hi Everyone,
I’ve ordered a Mini Cooper S on the 13th of November, and I spoke to the online guys for them to give me order status 5000. My delivery date and the salesman is saying the 3rd January, however the guys are saying the 3rd,10th and 17th. I’ve also been told 150 and the chassis number has been assigned however some are saying otherwise. I’m super confused and starting to worry I won’t get it on the 3rd. What’s everybody’s experience

Who are “ the guys “ giving you different delivery dates? I’d check with your salesperson and get confirmation from them. It normally takes about a week for the dealer to register and pdi the car once they get hold of it.

I was lucky enough to get a early build slot due to somebody cancelling, still at status 5000 but apparently I have a chassis number and it’s scheduled/confirmed for production. I have a hunch it’ll be tomorrow that it goes into production. My build weeks have been all over the place, even had one day the build date was after the delivery - it’s frustrating

I’ve found that I get conflicting information depending on which Genius I’m speaking to. Some are very helpful and give you as much information as they can and some are vague. I ordered mine mid August and was initially given a Nov delivery date only for it to be pushed back to March. Last time I spoke to Genius they said est for production end of Jan so I’m hoping things start moving soon. I would always go off the latest date, that way you hopefully won’t be too disappointed. I’ve been given multiple dates in the last 5 months but end of March seems to be most likely at the minute. I hope you get an update soon!

I ordered last Nov still showing oct (pushed back from May) on mini genius so not looking great as it was a manual JCW - still hoping it comes forward to May/June/July and build is honoured by mini (dealer should be updating me by mid May) but given how everything has played out I doubt it. 😔
