Hi Guys, hoping can help as multiple garages don't seem to know what to do.

Since my Mini had a front passenger spring explode, it was repaired, but despite this, and being tracked 6 separate times now (at 3 different places), after just a couple of miles of driving, it starts to pull quite badly to the left again.

Over the last 6 months trying to fix this issue I have had
2x New Springs (twice)
2x New Shock Absorbers
2x New Top Mounts
2x New front Tyres
2x New front disks and brakes

None of these seem to have remedied the issue :( I could cry at the money spent to no avail.

Latest mechanics idea is it could be the electric steering not correcting to centre? Nobody seems to know really

Any ideas what could be causing this as a result of the initial incident (it was fine for years before that)?

Thanks in advance
Adam

Maybe talk to one of these Mini specialist tuning centres as they set up Minis with new suspension, shocks, brakes, wheels, diffs and all sorts all the time

With the tires properly inflated take the car to an empty parking lot and make slow speed u-turns first in one direction then another. Make several. As the u-turn completes let the wheel find its own center. Note the position. If the wheel doesn't consistently center at the same position that's a sign the steering rack is bad.

Oh, quite a long shot but some road surfaces are so bad a car will be pulled to one side or the other by the bad road surface.

Are the tires matched? Front and back and side to side? If unidirectional are all tires mounted so they rotate in the correct direction when the car is going forward?
