Yes standard fitment-we have it in our L!-sim inthe car -no need for a phone you can contact sos mini services in the event of something nasty happening.

Biking is amazing and whereever you go on a bike another biker will come over to chat-just love the nods we all give each other-or leg wave-as you say bikers do have each others backs-been to the NEC to the bike show today-kid in a candy shop! in my head spent a fortune! After 2 new hips I can now sit comfortably on a BMW S1000 rr-m version-please Santa but also love the 1200RT-what a comfy lovely bike! Need to win the lottery!

I had this too. Any one else thinking it's a pretty non urgent update. I won't be rushing I. To get this done at all. We've a hectic February. Then I'll think about it but tbh I could easily wait till it's second year service in November. No car had this a few years ago!

I don't think it is a recall-it isn't on all cars,ie previous Minis and many cars in production now, so it's just a (in their eyes but in mine a total luxury extra and hopefully pretty useles one that we've never seen before the internet /mobile phone days) safety related (mmm ) software update and v minor imo.

Yes says recall on mine too which is unusual for Mini. They usually call them quality enhancements so it might be a proper 'registered with DVLA ' recall and not yet be on. They're not very efficient at the mo I gather. Or it might just be phrasing but suspect the former given the wording!

I find the limiter harsh too. If you're above the speed you set bang it drops it. Unlike the ice which coasts to it.
