Thanks I will connect with them before doing any work on it. The car runs great anyway. Is the car registered in a state that requieres emisión testing? I am in Florida which does not and they once stated that extended warranty only applies for certain states that get the SULEV discount. To me that is a total rip off. I found this online, it’s a know issue by mini do to the parts they used, look at the cause description from their doc. . It should be a recall for anyone. I can't thank you enough for posting this! My 2016 mini convertible (F57) had the check engine light that came on. It seemed to run perfect other than the dash light warning. I took to the local Mini Dealer who diagnosed it as a air catalyst sensor in radiator faulty. They qoted $2,767.94!!! I immediately copied this 2 page you had here and sent it to the service advisor stating it sounded like a warranty or recall item to me. Then, after a few hours the service advisor alerted me it would be covered by warranty and I owe Zero. Knowledge is power, thanks again!
