Has anyone test driven the new F66 mini cooper C petrol. can't find any reviews online for a cooper only a cooper s.
If so how does it compare to an F56?

Hi
I test drove the classic with the level 2 pack
My first impression of the inside was the monster round Speedo touch screen in the middle of the car , no shroud round it like in the f56 , just looked like they forgot about it and an afterthought
But other than that I liked the interior , basic looking but easy to keep clean , it didn't have the sports seats but they were comfy the seats it came with
First time for me driving an automatic but it was very responsive, in mud mode steering is a bit light and it's easy to over do the steering ,
No runflats so the ride was smooth
Heads up display I would say is a must because without it you have to look at the central display and take your eyes off the road
No handbrake lever , so parking is done via a press switch and reverse by a toggle
I think I'm going to wait before buying one , but I will get one later
I’m Giotto go and get a test drive shortly, I to have never driven an automatic so it will be interesting

Thought I would hop in to this thread, just joined. We have owned 4 previous minis: R53 S, F56 Cooper, S and JCW.

We took delivery of our new F66 S last week. Legend grey, level 3 pack and a few other options. Only early days and running it in obviously but it really is amazing. They have definitely done a great job of the changes, usability, ride etc etc.

Very nice, that’s the colour combo I’m going to go for.

So just been for a test drive In a F66 cooper C which was interesting as I have never driven an auto. Was really impressed and have ordered one in legend grey with a red roof and bonnet stripes. I think my build slot is early August, so should hopefully get for new registration on 01 September. I am buying with cash and got a 5% discount and got a good trade in price on my current f56 cooper sport. This will be my 9th new BMW mini.
speaking to the salesman he said that he had sold very few of the electric minis, but had sold a lot of the petrol ones
