yea .. thanks man .. I am trying to find information on Electronic Flap .. my delivery is 28 AUG .. if factory JCW does not come with electronic flap then I get dealer to install one for me? do you have any information.

 

Very nice! I tried building a VO JCW on the configurator and it wouldn't
let me add JCW bonnet stripes...poo-hoo! I think that would be killer! It wouldn't allow a red roof either LOL! Why not?

The Cup Spoke wheels look awesome with the VO/Black color combo!

Ahh gotchya! I just dropped off my plates to my dealer. They are estimating Tuesday next week for mine. Did you go an Auto or Manual?

 

one Manual & one Auto .. do you know if the electronic flap in exhaust is standard on JCW ?

 

Standard factory JCW has no flap in exhaust !

Spoke to my dealer, Mini hasn't released the electronic flap for JCW in Australia ? what other options are out there.. I just need the exhaust n blue tooth module? how much that would be>

 

Am getting the tuner exhaust installed before I take delivery. In the states, the tuner kit runs $2,500 installed. Got dealer to do it for $2,000. BUT ... the cost also includes ecu remapping to get the extra 30 horsepower.

Car looks nice in VO with your stripes.
Don't know what position will be in Aus but Bluetooth exhaust comes as part of a kit in UK.........but I complained to Mini UK that I only needed exhaust and eventually got one on its own with a discount of the full kit price. Had to wait though for new stock to arrive and take car back in.
Don't know if there is a Remus agent out there.....another option.

According to my dealer, the BT kit is not legal in Australia. Not sure why, but that's what the dealer head told me

 

It's not legal in UK either in track mode........you have to sign a disclaimer not to use it on public roads, as if anybody would do that>>




Maybe they are not allowing it at all out there for some reason......V8 supercars make enough noise anyway:laugh:


As I mentioned something like the Remus system might be an option.........both pipes pass through the rear box so is probably quieter in activated mode than JCW Pro which has a bypass pipe.

I am about to change some ECU values to get some extra features going specially Mini Connected App. In Australia its been locked by Mini...................................................... if someone have that experience please share.
