Hey I have a 17 Clubman S All4 and I havent really messed with the dynamic damper control yet.

What does it exactly do and when should I turn it on/off? Also can you use it with sport mode? Thanks in advance!

DDC is linked to driving modes, not much to mess with. More like set it and forget it.
If you’re in Green or Mid Mode DDC is in its softest setting.
From My Mini in vehicle settings you select Configure Sport. Then select Drivetrain and Chassis that way when you enter Sport Mode the throttle response will change, the steering will stiffen, and DDC will move to its stiffer setting.

Desert Rat is almost right. With DDC it has three settings. Green is softest and most compliant setting for comfort. Mid is the halfway setting which you will be in most of the time and Sport really stiffens everything up and makes the ride rather firm and bouncy

This comes up a lot, but GREEN/MID is 10% softer than the Cooper/Cooper S suspension, SPORT is 10% stiffer than the Cooper/Cooper S suspension if the check box is configured in the vehicle settings.

For the last couple of years or so, you can option a JCW with VDC, standard suspension, or the default is sport suspension. I have VDC, but if I was specing from new I would have standard suspension. My car lives the majority of the time in the soft setting (even in sport mode) but I find it is the best compromise on roads.
