The MEGA links on CarTechnology aren't working for me, but there is a Yandex link that seems to be working. Use at your own risk. I am downloading now, I will post my progress.

Name:Road_Map_EUROPE_EVO_2019-3_CEBEP_SPB.zip
Size:27.82 GB

Did you guys seriously manage to figure out what to do from this website. Its all in russian for me, and chrome dosent consistently offer me a translation.

So far I believe I have signed up for Yandex and downloaded it. And have idenified which version of the maps I need for my F56 (Next). But as far as actually pulling that of the website to my PC. Im struggling. Would really appreciate some advice, or baby steps.

Cheers,

ALex

This link that was posted earlier worked today (25th Jan 20) for me and its just the torrent file, so you will need a torrent program to download it.... EVO 2019-4

Can you please share the link where you downloaded it, because it seems that Mega link is dead again.

Thanks
I used the one linked to just above my post, which was active at the time. It was only a torrent though, let me see if I can dig out a link to the torrent itself.

Edit ah nevermind v2019-4 is there.

Finally got round to installing the 2019-4 EVO map which I got from the mega link, spent a few quid on getting a code for the mini, so sat outside for 40 min's while it updated after entering my 20 digit lifetime code.... and its finally got the new roundabout in just up the road from me... I'm a happy bunny ??

Lads I am a complete novice to everything I'm reading 😂😂 extracting unzipping I don't have a clue can someone run through the process and what to do. my maps on car are Evo and are on 2016-2.
There are a few steps to the map update process

Check what maps your car is running (it looks like you know this)
Find a site that will let you download the update for your maps
Download the maps to your computer
The maps will probably be in a compressed files format such as ZIP as they are very big files (30GB - 40GB)
Uncompress the files to the format your car needs them in using an app that can extract ZIP format files
Copy the uncompressed files to a USB stick/external drive (at least 64GB capacity)
Plug the device into your car (engine running)
Your car should recognise that the files on the device are an update for the files in your car and prompt you through the update steps
If your car is more than 3 years old (it looks like yours is) your will be asked for an FSC code before the update can proceed (unless a previous owner has entered one).
You can purchase 2 types of FSC code, a one time update or a lifetime code. They pretty much do what they say, let you perform 1 update or cover you for all update to that car (they are generated based on the VIN number). You can buy a code from various places online or your Mini dealer.
After entered a valid code the car will copy the files from the USB device, as the files are so big this can take up to an hour, just go for a nice drive while this take place.
When complete the sat nav will reboot and you can check the update is complete by looking your map version.
Disconnect your USB device
