Just performed a front and rear pad replacement on my F56 JCW using aftermarket street/track pads.

Had alot of trouble finding a supplier in Australia to replace the brembo pads so was looking at non oem pads instead and came across a company that sells street and track pads.
Ended up getting Winmax W3 pads from a company called Motorsport brakes in Queensland.

After initial identification problems of what pads fit the brembo calipers, finally got the pads, fitted and performed the embedded process and they are fantastic. Without measureable statistics, the performance difference is amazing. You can really feel the brakes grabbing and stopping much earlier than previously.
Using the same brake pressure as before at 80km/hr to 0 i can easily stop 20 to 30 meters earlier.

I have some pictures that will upload soon.
If you want more specific info, just let me know.

Thd actual brake pad changing was fairly easy. The fronts were incredibly easy but the rears were a bit trickier.

Never a dumb question unless you ask it twice.
The pads are Japanese made and there are distributors around the place.

I had done 30k km on my set and still had atleast another 10k left on them. I just didnt want to be left trying to find pads at the last minute so i changed them early and will keep them a side as a spare. Also doing this will save me changing the sensor as it wont have activated.

They did cost me $600 au for the full set but comparing to others and for what I got, they are not bad value.

Its usualy the rears that require changing well before the fronts due to cruise control and stability control use of those brakes. You must be an enthusiastic driver that loves the mini's handling.

At least with these brake pads, you can really feel a difference. For the cost, it's a relatively cheap performance enhancement

I should mention my rears were done 6,000 miles prior to the fronts!
