Do you think they're designed to be placed as shown or are moveable? Also, what are the laws where you live on when they can be on and when not? And is there a blank somewhere on the dash for the switch? I'm starting to regret not getting the LED headlights and looking for alternatives. Thanks.
The switch for this lights is placed on the steering column, right next to where you can sync the key fob, on the other subject, I don't know about any laws but I don't think it would be wise to use this lights as your main lights for your safety and the safety of the other drivers.

My Dealer quoted me $821.00 for the lights. I almost passed out rather take the $$$ for coils. Can not remember if install is on top of what he quoted me. Love the Cibie,s it should look good on the 3rd Gen. too.

I think in Australia, fitting the spotties might be illegal as anything protruding from the front bumpa bar can increase the risk of pedestrian safety therefore not allowed. We fit alot of bull bars on our 4wd and utes and can fit spotties and LED bar lights but they must be within the bullbar or behind it. A mini is slightly different in comparison but the same rules apply.
I do like the rally look and considering the JCW doesn't have any in built spotties, these would be a great advantage. I live in a semi rural area so extra lighting would be very handy to avoid those bloody kangaroos.

Fwiw, the pic of the yellow MINI at the beginning of this thread has the LED driving lights in the wrong positions....too far to the outside. My LED Rally lights are lined up with the outer bonnet stripe red edge on my JCW. Looks fine IMO. Maybe there are different mounting points between models?

I opted for this option mainly because the JCW doesn't have foglights (which I prefer actually). Anyway it just looks better with more than only the LED headlamps IMO. MINI's need more than just headlamps regardless of how powerful they are......again, just my opinion (it's a MINI thing...some may not understand!) LOL

I think I can get the original LED spotlight pack fitted for 600€. I love the looks, don't love the price... Don't know if I'll get them. Doesn't sound very reasonable since I didn't get something more usefull, like the harman kardon upgrade due to higher price, for example... Must. Resist. Help...?
